Journal for Strategic Threat Analysis and Response (JSTAR)

The Journal for Strategic Threat Analysis and Response (JSTAR) is accepting submissions for publication.

JSTAR is ISTAR's online journal that publishes student op-ed papers in the field of strategic threats once per semester. Submissions are accepted from both undergraduate and graduate students in all disciplines.

Papers from the humanities or social science disciplines are less than 1500 words total written in an op-ed format. Topics must clearly relate to issues surrounding strategic threats.

Papers from the science disciplines are no more than 1500 words total not including captions and references. Papers are allowed no more than four figures/tables, and should include a brief description of techniques and approaches used, but not a formal description of methods. The findings reported need not be complete, but a clear case should be made for the potential of the work to have an impact on problems relating to strategic threats, applied policy implications of the research.

Authors of published papers receive a one time $50 honorarium.

Please submit all papers to Adrian Arroyo at adychka@gmail.com.
